  • Referred To: House Municipal Government It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
  • SECTION 1. Chapter 44-5 of the General Laws entitled "Levy and Assessment of Local Taxes" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:
  • 44-5-86. Pawtucket real and personal property tax exemption.
  • The city of Pawtucket is authorized to exempt from taxation, to the extent the city council of the city of Pawtucket may from time to time determine, the real and personal property of the Neil J. Houston Jr. Community Resources for Justice Center.
  • SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. ======== LC002376 ========
  • 44-5-86. The Neil J. Houston, Jr. Residential Re-entry Center.
  • The city of Pawtucket is authorized to exempt from taxation, to the extent the city council of the city of Pawtucket may from time to time determine, the real and personal property of the Neil J. Houston, Jr. Residential Re-entry Center located at 67-85 Slater Street, Pawtucket, RI.
